About Us…

We’re dog-loving husband and wife team, Tom and Tara Hine, and we operate Ashenhurst Kennels in a private and idyllic countryside setting near Leek, Staffordshire.

We purpose-built our luxury boarding kennels with the latest heating, security and home-comforts to make your precious dog’s stay with us as comfortable and as fun as possible.

As a fully qualified veterinary nurse with 20 years clinical experience and Tom being an experienced gun-dog handler – we know dogs inside and out and can meet their needs as best as possible.

Dogs are our passion and the reason why we created the kennels – to provide top quality care for all your wet-nosed companions needs.

We understand that leaving your dog somewhere new can be a little daunting, but we are available to answer any questions or concerns prior to their stay – we welcome a pre-booking viewing if required.

Your dogs are our top priority and we attempt to replicate their home routine as closely as possible based on the information you tell us about your four-legged friend.
